Who handles your data

Daniil Maximkin operates this site personally. For questions about your data, email hello@daniilmaximkin.com.

Browsing and technical logs

This site publishes my work and writing. The existing /task/ entry remains available for Task for Daniel requests. Its drafts, browser storage, submitted requests and delivery use the processing described in the Task privacy notice linked below. Hosting and Cloudflare process network information such as your IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser and referring page for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Logs are separate from correspondence; this notice does not promise a fixed log deletion period.

Measurement and your choices

I use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand page visits and requests saved by the receiving service. Daniil’s site and Task for Daniel use the same analytics stream; permitted cross-domain measurement can connect a visit between them. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics storage defaults to denied until you choose; Google may receive cookieless measurement and consent signals before that. Elsewhere analytics is enabled by default, and you can opt out using cookie settings. Your choice is stored in cookie-consent in this browser separately on each site. No advertising tags are loaded. Analytics event parameters exclude task text, summaries, contact details and request references; measured page URLs keep campaign tags (utm_* parameters) and the Google Ads click identifier (gclid), but no other query parameters or fragments. Google processes technical visit data under its privacy terms, including international processing. GA4 event and user data retention is set to 14 months, with user retention renewed by new activity; this is not a deletion schedule for aggregate reports or task requests.

When you write to me

Your email address, message and any details you choose to share are used to answer your enquiry and take steps you request before a possible engagement. Other correspondence and security processing rely on legitimate interests in responding and protecting the site. Email uses an owner-managed mail server. Keep passwords, API keys and private customer data out of your message.

Retention and providers

Correspondence is kept as needed to follow up or carry out agreed work, subject to legal obligations. Necessary copies in mail, internal tools and backups are handled separately. Cloudflare provides network security and HTTPS; its processing terms describe international processing and safeguards. This notice does not promise that all provider processing stays in the EEA.

Your rights and other sites

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the AEPD or another competent supervisory authority. Task for Daniel and other external services describe their own processing separately. To make a request, email hello@daniilmaximkin.com.
